Just wondering if anyone else has noticed new restrictions on acquiring a Worldcat Search API (2.0) - https://www.oclc.org/developer/api/oclc-apis/worldcat-search-api.en.html for searching shared print retention commitments.
I'm fairly certain that previously OCLC only required a cataloging subscription, so I am surprised by the additional requirement to have a discovery subscription.
Oh no! We don't have a cataloging subscription, we just have the FirstSearch access they give Shared Print Program administrators. Who would we contact to get an exception for Shared Print Program administrators?

OH, I should have made that clear, this if for LIBRARIES requesting a key, not shared print programs.

Oh you are right! I must have conflated it in my head with the Metadata API requirements which only require a cataloging subscription. Still, it is disappointing, and I don't think many of our members will be able to use it :(

Now that I think about this more, I think I had the 'cataloging subscription' only requirement in my head as that is what you need to REGISTER commitments. It does seem problematic that you need a discovery subscription to FIND the items you registered. To quote Susan's take on the OCLC motto <https://www.oclc.org/en/about.html#:~:text=Because%20what%20is%20known%20must%20be%20shared%C2%AE.> "what is shared must be known"!
Hello All - The Partnership is working on a Toolkit for new and emerging shared print programs, and is looking for example policies to include (link to). If you have a policies page, or links to operational policies such as Access, ILL, Reallocation, Disclosure, Withdrawal or others, I'd appreciate having the links. Thanks, --Sara

Hi Systems,
I need to set up a new Listserv called PAN-Ops for an offshoot for the PAN list. Please let me know what needs to be done.
Best,
Marie
