Thanks for the clarification, but the plain meaning of the description
does not convey what you have just said here about the referent of
"cutting edge"; and the word "novel" was not used in the initial
description of what criteria are used to assess articles but was added
later as an additional criterion. Let's hope that QScience journals
are better edited than this statement is.
