The Board of Directors of the Society for Scholarly Publishing is very
pleased to announce its 2012 Travel Grant Program.

If you are managing or supervising staff new to publishing, and
looking for ways you can encourage and inform them, take advantage of
the opportunities offered by this year’s grants to attend SSP’s 34thd
Annual Meeting in Arlington, VA. Send them to the SSP Web site soon to
check out the application form, as the closing date for applications
is March 23.  If you’re new to the profession yourself, or if you are
looking for meaningful and visible ways for your company to offer
sponsorship, this may be just the chance you’ve been waiting for.

There are up to ten grants available this year, offering:

Complimentary registration to the 34th Annual Meeting, May 30 - June
1, 2012 in Arlington, VA

Eligibility for reimbursement of up to $1,000 in travel and lodging expenses

Complimentary membership in SSP for the remainder of 2012, which
ensures member discounted rates for all other SSP training seminars
and events

Extensive Annual Meeting publicity for sponsor companies

Improved career prospects for award winners, who also bring kudos to
their companies

A full mentoring program to help winners get the most from the Annual Meeting

So go now to the SSP web site, click on the SSP grants application
page, and pass on the word to colleagues!
