I had an amusing conversation this morning with a friend in which we
tried to come up with all the reasons people say that innovations in
scholarly communications will not work. This made me want to put
together a list of all possible objections to a new idea. Anybody
have some suggestions? Responding offline would be fine. If the
collection has some entertainment value, I will tie it all together
and post it online.
