Renew Consulting for Societies has announced that it is an official
supporter of Society Street, the new conference for senior leadership
teams of professional societies, Royal Colleges, and not-for-profit
member organisations, to be held on 26th June 2018 at RCOG, Rooms on
Regent’s Park, London.

Society Street brings together a wide range of topics facing
membership organisations on one day, and examines the relationships
between them. The four main tracks of the conference are Finance and
Taxation, Human Resources, Publishing, and Membership.

The conference is the brainchild of Simon Inger, who has been
providing consultancy to societies for over 15 years and is being run
by Mark Allen Group, a highly experienced conference organiser.
Simon said “In our work with societies we increasingly see the need
for more joined‐up thinking; bringing together publishing,
conferences, membership, outreach and governance of the society in to
a more cohesive strategic plan. At the heart of every successful
society is a community of specialists, and it is this community that
is the common thread in all societies’ activities. At last we have a
conference in the UK that can start to look all aspects of running a
successful society under one roof.
