Dear Colleagues

I am pleased to let you know that in January 2016 a new, facilitated
online training course - Negotiation Skills for Librarians - will be
available to librarians, consortia staff and other information
professionals.

I have been delivering the 1-day in-person workshop, on which the
online course is based, in Europe and the Middle East since 2008,
frequently on behalf of UKSG.  In that time, over 330 librarians,
consortia staff and other information professionals have taken part,
the vast majority of whom rating their experience overall as
‘Excellent’ with 100% saying they would recommend the workshop to
their colleagues.

The online version of this training has been developed, in response to
interest/demand from colleagues in North America, South Africa,
Australia and New Zealand.

A course timed for colleagues in North America and compatible
time-zones will begin on January 10th 2016.

A separate course, timed for colleagues in Australia, New Zealand and
compatible time-zones, will begin on January 20th 2016.
