Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to provide further details about two UKSG events - the
UKSG One-Day Conference, 20 November 2014, and the UKSG Forum, 21
November 2014.

* "Untying the knots and joining the dots: researchers' needs from
funding to outputs and beyond"

UKSG One-Day Conference, 20 November 2014, London.

More information at: http://www.uksg.org/event/NOVCONF2014

There has been a focus throughout the scholarly communications sector
on understanding the complexities of how research actually happens,
how funding decisions are made, how data is created and shared, how
results are communicated, how researchers make information choices,
and how these influence institutional policies.

Join us for enlightening talks and valuable networking with those who
are shaping the future of how research is managed and communicated.
Delegate booking opens in May.

AND

* "Information without Frontiers - barriers and solutions".

UKSG Forum, 21 November 2014, London. Short sessions, exhibition and networking.

More information at: http://www.uksg.org/event/FORUM2014

Now in its second year, the UKSG Forum is an exhibition and networking
event designed to bring together the information community. This year
we have a bigger venue with even more opportunity for exhibition
viewing, individual meetings, focus groups, and networking. There will
be a programme of short sessions on hot topics including Q&A sessions,
tech talks, case studies and product reviews.

The event will be free to anyone working for a UKSG-member
organization (view the UKSG member list at
http://www.uksg.org/members); there will be a charge of £65 for
delegates from non-member organisations. (Become a UKSG member at
http://www.uksg.org/join)

**Exhibitors**

This is an invaluable opportunity to raise your profile in a central
London location - last year's event was sold out and received
excellent feedback. Options for participation include sponsorship,
exhibition space, private meeting rooms for focus groups, negotiations
and meetings, and an opportunity to participate in public Q&A sessions
about future innovation. Exhibition booking will open in May,
however, immediate expressions of interest may be sent to Alison
Whitehorn, [log in to unmask]

Thank you for your attention.

With regards

Maria
