From Today via The Exponent (Purdue's Student Newspaper)

The National Association of College Stores Inc., based in Ohio, is
suing Purdue for access to a copy of the full contract between Amazon
and the University.

Purdue, a public institution, redacted parts of the contract because
they claim they included trade secrets under Indiana’s public records
law. The campus retail association disagrees, as they argue the
materials constitute public records. They filed a lawsuit on March 24
in the Tippecanoe Superior Court 2, listing three types of wrongfully
redacted portions of the document.

Brian Schneider, an attorney for the National Association of College
Stores Inc. who submitted the complaint to the University, said they
are just trying to get as much information as possible, as his client
represents the entire college store industry.
