FORCE11 CONFERENCE - FORCE2017

Date: 25-27 October 2017
Venue: Kalkscheune (www.kalkscheune.de/en), Berlin
Hashtag: #Force2017
Site: www.force2017.org
Conference Chair: Martin Fenner
Program Chair: Daniel Mietchen

This year’s Force11 Conference will focus on “Changing the Culture” as
a theme to guide these discussions. It is intended to create new
partnerships and collaborations and to support implementation of ideas
generated at the conference and in the FORCE11 working groups. With a
focus on dialogue rather than monologues, on diversity both on stage
and in the audience, and with a program geared towards turning past
experiences with and future visions for scholarly communication into
concrete next steps, the FORCE2017 Conference aims to contribute its
fair share to changing the scholarly communication landscape. Check
out the line-up of Keynote Speakers and topics on the website.

Historically, the application requests received exceed the funding
available and we therefore are only able to provide “partial” funding.

a maximum amount as outlined below.
• Travel from European Countries to Berlin will be given reimbursement
of travel expenses up to a maximum of €750
• Travel from outside European Countries to Berlin will be given
reimbursement of travel expenses up to a maximum of €1,500
