The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with IOP
Publishing to preserve their ebooks in CLOCKSS's geographically and
geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12
major research libraries around the world.

IOP is committed to ensuring the preservation of its digital content for the
long term and the partnership with CLOCKSS is part of the company's strategy
to provide certainty for customers.

IOP Publishing's Head of Content and Platform Management Graham McCann said,
"Our new award winning ebooks programme is already home to major works from
some of the most distinguished authors working in the physical sciences
today. Ensuring that these important works are available for all time is
critical for the integrity of the scientific record. We are delighted to
work with CLOCKSS to offer our customers this long term assurance."

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, "By archiving with CLOCKSS,
IOP has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will be available
for a worldwide audience now and in the future in a manner that secures them
for the long-term good of scholars."

About: IOP Publishing (IOP) provides publications through which leading-edge
scientific research is distributed worldwide.

Beyond IOP's core journals programme of over 70 publications, high-value
scientific information is made easily accessible through an ever-evolving
portfolio of community websites, magazines, open access conference
proceedings and a multitude of electronic services. The company is focused
on making the most of new technologies and continually improving electronic
interfaces to make it easier for researchers to find exactly what they need,
when they need it, in the format that suits them best.

IOP Publishing is part of the Institute of Physics, a leading scientific
society with over 50,000 international members. The Institute aims to
advance physics for the benefit of all by working to advance physics
research, application and education; and engaging with policy makers and the
public to develop awareness and understanding of physics. Profits generated
by IOP Publishing go directly to support science through the activities of
the Institute.
