Some faculty are not discerning in this area and do not distinguish
between the platforms.

Yes, some faculty may believe that the disingenuously-named
Academia.edu (since it was grandfathered in to that URL) may have
something to do with an educational institution.

And -- the authors of that article are at the California Digital
Library:  Katie Fortney and Justin Gonder.

And - don't we credit the authors when we post or reblog?
