Associate Dean for Instruction, Collections, and Patron Services

Utah State University’s Merrill-Cazier Library seeks a
forward-thinking, proactive Associate Dean to lead the division
encompassing instruction services, collection management, and patron
services. The primary responsibilities of the position are to provide
leadership within the division as well as the broader University
Libraries’ and the campus’ strategic plans and goals. The incumbent
will report to the Dean of Libraries and directly supervise three unit
heads: Patron Services, Collections Management & Resource Sharing, and
Learning & Engagement Services. The Associate Dean will be a member of
the Libraries’ Executive Council, the senior leadership, policy and
management team.

Salary is $90,000 minimum depending on experience, plus excellent
benefits. Utah State University offers a competitive benefits package
including medical and dental with a 14.2% retirement contribution by
the University, and 22 days/year vacation.

Preferred Start Date: Beginning of 2018 (negotiable)
