This message is a reminder that the NISO PIE-J Standing Committee
wants YOUR feedback and that the survey below will close at the end of
the day on March 23, 2015. If you haven't already done so, please
take a few minutes to complete the short survey at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/niso-piej. All responses will remain
anonymous and confidential. Thank you to everyone who has already
responded.

PIE-J: The Presentation & Identification of E-Journals is a NISO
(National Information Standards Organization) Recommended Practice,
freely available here: http://www.niso.org/publications/rp/rp-16-2013.
Since its publication in March 2013, the full document has been
downloaded more than 7000 times. The PIE-J Standing Committee is now
seeking information about whether and how the PIE-J guidelines are
being used.

The PIE-J Standing Committee is responsible for responding to
questions, promoting PIE-J, and gathering comments for its formal,
two-year review. This survey will help inform the committee's upcoming
review. Feel free to forward the link to any colleagues you think
would be well-suited to complete the survey.

Information about PIE-J, including links to the full text of the
Recommended Practice, two forms of a PIE-J brochure, and a template
that librarians can use to bring problems with the presentation and/or
identification of an e-journal to the attention of a publisher or
provider can be found at: http://www.niso.org/workrooms/piej.

If you have any questions, please contact one or both of the PIE-J
Standing Committee co-chairs Sarah (Sally) Glasser
([log in to unmask]) or Ed Cilurso
([log in to unmask]).

Thank you in advance for your participation.
