Erika,  I'll have to check for a confidentiality clause and our
University policies
before I share any details.

But, in general, yes we did negotiate modifications for our AMA License in
2010.

They were _not_ the worst we had to deal with.

find anything.

We're looking at the JAMA backfile and current site licenses. Our
inquiries about the jurisdiction/venue clauses were not met with any
productive response.

Hi All,

Currently the University of Wisconsin-Madison has ongoing negotiations
with the American Medical Association (AMA) and the JAMA backfile
license. These negotiations have been quite lengthy and UW-Madison has
concern over a couple clauses regarding indemnification that the
publisher seems unwilling to accept multiple re-works of proposed
wording for this clause.

I was wondering if any of you have had a similar experience with this
publisher and if so if you would be willing to contact me off-list
about your negotiations with AMA?
