(Apologies for cross posting)

Please take a few minutes to share your impressions of ORCID
<http://orcid.org/>, by completing our short survey (available in
English <http://svy.mk/1MI2qh2>, Portuguese <http://svy.mk/1EH4eyz>
and Spanish <http://svy.mk/1JmpgUf>). Your feedback will help inform
ORCID’s future plans.

Whether you are familiar with ORCID or you have never have heard of
us - your perspective as a member of the scholarly research community
is important to us.

Our mission is to solve the name ambiguity problem in research and
scholarly communications, by providing an open registry of unique,
persistent identifiers for individual researchers and open methods for
connecting ORCID with research activities and affiliations.

This survey is completely anonymous, offering you the chance to tell
us what you really think about the value of researcher identifiers to
solve the name ambiguity problem in scholarly communications and the
role of ORCID as a provider of these identifiers.

If you respond by August 31, you also have the option to enter to win
one of five US$100 Amazon gift cards.

Please feel free to share this link with your colleagues and your
wider community by forwarding this email or sharing the link via
social media.

Many thanks in advance for participating. We will share the results of
the survey in a post on our blog,

Alice Meadows
