How has the rapid evolution of digital tools and information access
changed the reference landscape? What will reference look like in 2,
5, and 10 years?

Last week, the Special Library Association and SAGE held a webinar
unveiling the preliminary results of a study of North American special
and academic librarians about numerous high-impact factors and
challenges facing the information industry. The full webinar and
slides, featuring Elisabeth Leonard, Market Research Analyst for SAGE,
can be found here: http://ow.ly/v3gnN

The results will be compiled into a white paper, due in June of this
year. If you would like to receive this white paper by email when it
arrives and/or be invited to the special brunch presentation at ALA
Annual in June, please email [log in to unmask] For questions
about the survey results, please contact Elisabeth at
