Dear all,

For your information, please note that the last issue (52-1) of the
Revue européenne des sciences sociales / European Journal of Social
Sciences (Librairie Droz / Geneva) has just been released, including a
thematic section dedicated to Open Access in Human and Social
Sciences: "Poltiques du libre accès en sciences humaines et sociales".

--> ress.revues.org/2635?lang=en

--> http://www.cairn.info/revue-europeenne-des-sciences-sociales-2014-1.htm.

This thematic section deals with the debate spurred in France, last
year, by the publication of the European Commission Recommandation
about “access to and preservation of scientific information” and
includes the 5 following articles written by professionnals working in
online publishing and scholars from different scientific fields
(information and communication; economy and philosophy):

    • Ivan Jaffrin et Thomas Parisot:
La place des revues dans la
communication scientifique en régime de libre accès. Retour sur le
débat français en SHS

    •    Ghislaine Chartron
: Open access et SHS : Controverses

    •    Xavier Landes:
Les enjeux normatifs et politiques de la
diffusion de la recherche. Bénéfices sociaux et libre accès

    •    Olivier Bomsel
: Copyright et économie des revues académiques

    •    Hans Dillaerts
: Le libre accès et le financement de projets
de recherche transversaux : des vecteurs d’interdisciplinarité dans
l’économie de la connaissance ?

All articles are in French, but abstracts are available in English.

As an introduction to the discussion, the first article is free to access here:
