Hi everyone,

January 28th was international privacy day, and to mark this occasion
my colleague IJsbrand Jan Aalbersberg (who is as delightful as his
name is intimidating; he first name is pronounced Ice-brand-yan for
those of you who are wondering) has crafted an Elsevier Connect
article on our privacy principles. I know this is a topic of great
interest to our moderator, and to many other librarians and
publishers, so wanted to draw it to your attention. You can read it
online here:

https://www.elsevier.com/connect/respecting-data-privacy

and I know that IJJ (as he is also known) would appreciate any
thoughts or suggestions. There’s a comment thread on the article to
facilitate interaction, and he’s also a new member of liblicense.

With kind wishes,
Alicia
