In another brilliant, strategical visionary acquisition, Elsevier has
acquired BEPress, the company behind Digital Commons, the leading
software platform for institutional repositories. Roger Schonfeld has

Perhaps in itself this is not a game-changer, but coupled with the
acquisitions of Mendeley and SSRN, Elsevier's dominant position is
reinforced, even as the company redirects itself into the world of
data analytics.

Let's hear if for the Elsevier management, and let's face it: Elsevier
is where they are today because they simply are smarter than anyone
else.
