Like the good businessman he claims to be, Trump probably purposely
did not delve into details about many of his policy proposals, so as
to retain maximum flexibility in actually dealing with the problems
ahead. So, much remains unpredictable at this point. More clarity
will come when Trump starts naming his Cabinet heads. Here he faces
an interesting dilemma. After running a campaign as an
anti-establishment outsider, Trump may well appoint people who have
been part of the establishment: Christie, Gingrich, Perry, Giuliani,
etc. What will the reaction of his supporters be? But if he does not
appoint people with political experience, but only people like
himself, with none, can he be effective in working the halls of
Congress and get anything done?
