Dear Liblicense Contributor:

Are you someone colleagues look to for answers? Do you have extensive
background working with electronic resources from selection to
negotiation to seamless access for users? Would you be successful
working with teams that include bibliographers, negotiators,
acquirers, catalogers, and information providers, sometimes in the
role of leader, other times, as an influencer, advocate, or active
contributor? Are you excited about the possibilities that open access
will offer to extend access to scholarly content to the world of
life-long learners? Are you prepared to lead the staff at the heart of
Harvard Library’s Electronic Resources?

I want to make you aware of an exciting leadership opportunity at
Harvard Library. The Library seeks a dynamic and collaborative Head
of Electronic Resources with a solid record of leadership, vision, and
accomplishments in electronic resource management. While managing a
strong and talented, eight-person Electronic Resources unit, this
leader will work across domains to leverage the synergies between
collection development, scholarly communication, and electronic
resources as s/he recommends the strategic direction for electronic
resources management, applying knowledge of current issues and trends
in e-resource licensing, copyright, collections and content,
acquisitions, and the publishing industry.

Please take a moment to look at the position description and process
for submitting an application.
