List members may be interested in the most recent Journal of
Electronic Publishing issue bringing together several considerations
of the cost of scholarly monograph publishing, including work from
Ithaka, an economic analysis from the Universities of Michigan and
Indiana and an examination of free riding in the university press
space. Severa members of the liblicense community are contributing
authors and thinkers on these articles. As a bonus, readers will find
a review of Ann Okerson and Alex Holzman's Once and Future Publishing
Library by Adam Hodgkin.
