The Paul V. Galvin Library at the Illinois Institute of Technology
(IIT) in Chicago, Illinois is pleased to announce a great opportunity
in the field of digital scholarship, Open Access, and scholarly
communication. The Digital Scholarship Librarian will provide guidance
and support for digital initiatives and academic publishing, open
access, and scholarly communication opportunities. This position
provides service, technical expertise, and guidance for the library’s
initiation of effective collaborations with campus stakeholders. The
Digital Scholarship Librarian will promote and mediate the use of
IIT’s Institutional Repository and Open Journal Systems. This position
identifies and supports innovative models for IIT libraries’ digital
stewardship, and serves as project coordinator for cross-cutting
initiatives, such as open publishing, digital humanities projects, and
