I'm not sure which "business interests" you have in mind. I think a
major focus of the UK consultation is to determine ways of modifying
current i.p. regimes to make them more supportive of innovative
businesses, as opposed to propping up the dinosaurs. Winston Tabb

Britain's is a conservative government, and it would be a big surprise
if it favored any changes that would ultimately do harm to business
