Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to November's free UKSG webinar:

"Peer review in 2015: a global view - Key findings from the Taylor &
Francis white paper"

http://www.uksg.org/webinars/peerreview

Date: Thursday 26 November 2015
Time: 1300 GMT
Duration: 45 minutes including Q&A (up to 60 minutes maximum if there
is sufficient demand for an extended Q&A)

Speakers:
Elaine Devine, Senior Communications Manager (Author Relations) and
Will Frass, Senior Research Executive, both Taylor & Francis

Overview:

Peer review: much discussed, much covered, much maligned, but what do
researchers really think of the system at the heart of scholarly
research? This webinar will present a snapshot of the findings of a
global survey conducted by Taylor & Francis in 2015, particularly
focusing on:

- views on the purpose of peer review
- perceptions on ethical issues
- opinions on different models of review
- the 'mechanics' of the system

This is a free webinar and open to all. If you are interested, but
unable to join the live event, please register anyway as a recording
will be made available to all who register.

For more information and to register, please visit
http://www.uksg.org/webinars/peerreview

Feedback from October's webinar: "The ease of access, the quality of
the content and the communication within the network make the UKSG
webinars extremely effective and really valuable." - Rachel Bramley,
University of Sussex"; 92% of survey respondents would recommend
October's webinar.

Thank you for your attention. I hope you can join us.

Maria
