Our apologies for a delayed response.

The titles in this list are a mixture of both purchases and
transferred titles. The purchased titles are mainly those from Vathek,
Symposium, and Baywood which are detailed on the website here:
http://www.uk.sagepub.com/librarians/newjournals.sp

We were also asked about pricing. SAGE evaluates the pricing of each
new title we acquire on an individual basis taking into account a wide
range of factors. These may include for instance: the investment
required to upgrade hosting infrastructure; the cost to digitize the
historical back file of print issues which we are then able to offer
digitally for the first time; the implementation of an online peer
review system; the number of issues and articles we will publish.
Additional complexity can be caused by the very wide range of pricing
models employed by previous publishers and sometimes by changes in the
currency of the subscription.

We are deeply aware of the budgetary constraints that our partners in
the library community experience. The difficult decision to increase
the price of a journal subscription is never made without a careful
review, making every effort to streamline and reduce costs without
compromising quality.
