This is a final reminder that CRL’s draft licensing terms and
specifications recommended for use in negotiating agreements for large
global datasets from providers are currently available for public
comment. The deadline for comments is June 30, 2018.

We encourage those who are interested to get involved in the lively
discussion that is currently taking place on the interactive PDF.
Individuals are sharing advice and raising questions regarding how the
terms can best address: scholarly citations and third party scholarly
sharing, definitions for “secure authentication,” and requirements for
a data validation. Collectively, the discussion and feedback will help
CRL build best practices for data licensing in the library community.

Feedback on the draft terms may be submitted through:

· PDF (Google Drive) with in-line commenting. Users
without Google accounts may comment anonymously, though we welcome
attribution by adding your name to your comments.

· Microsoft Word version (downloadable). Please add
comments and suggest revisions (with changes tracked), and return the
marked up document to Maria Smith [log in to unmask]
