I am not sure if this has been announced on the LibLicense list or
not; please forgive any duplication.
I wanted to let the members of this list know about a short Coursera
MOOC on copyright, designed for teachers and librarians at all levels,
that will be offered starting July 21. The MOOC is taught by three
librarian/lawyers who al specialize in this area -- myself, Anne
Gilliland from UNC Chapel Hill, and Lisa Macklin from Emory
University.
This is a free course. All participants who complete the assignments
will receive a statement of completion, and for those who need
something a bit more official in order to get professional development
credit (in the broadest sense) for taking the course, a verified
certificate is also available from Coursera for a small fee.
More information and enrollment are available at the course site:
https://www.coursera.org/course/cfel
I hope this a useful opportunity for some list members.
Best,
Kevin
