I actually had thought of taking photos not of those reading books on
the subway but of those coming out of the subway still reading books
as they walk down the sidewalk--I wanted to know which books were so
good the readers  couldn’t stop.

Believe it or not there are still the occasional sightings  of books
being read on the run on city sidewalks.

And the sight does make one stop and take notice as it is becoming
rarer in the crowd of portable devices.
