Michael Clarke has a very interesting (and slightly technical) post on
the Scholarly Kitchen today about responsive Web design and an
implementation of it for JSTOR's mobile services:

http://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/2012/09/28/responsive-web-design-comes-to-scholarly-publishing/

Clarke's point is that although the kind of thing that JSTOR did is
hard to do, there are great benefits for users. For my part, I am
looking forward to reading scholarly content on the multiple devices I
use, rather than being stuck printing out PDFs from my desktop.
