The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that bepress has entered into an
agreement with CLOCKSS to preserve e-journals hosted on bepress Digital
Commons publishing repositories. The journals are all participants in the
new Digital Commons Publishing Services program, which is designed to give
library-published journals access to professional publishing infrastructure.

Irene Perciali, Director of Strategic Initiatives at bepress, notes that
"Archiving with the CLOCKSS Archive is a hallmark of
professionally-published journals, and a key element in the long-term
success of library-based publishing programs." The initial addition to the
CLOCKSS Archive's archives includes nineteen journals published by ten
different university libraries and other academic organizations:

. AcademyHealth
. Butler University
. Grand Valley State University
. Kennesaw State University
. Pacific University
. Purdue University
. University of Massachusetts Amherst
. University of Nevada Las Vegas
. Western Kentucky University
. Global Summitry Project at the University of Toronto.

"We are pleased to be working with bepress and their Digital Commons
repositories. By archiving with CLOCKSS, the publishers participating in the
bepress Digital Commons have ensured the survival of this research for
future generations. We are grateful for their generous willingness to
preserve its ejournals in a way that secures them for the long-term good of
scholars worldwide," states Randy S. Kiefer, Executive Director of the
CLOCKSS Archive.
