Dear all,

The UKSG committee invites you to suggest topics and speakers for:

(a) our 2015 Forum, to be held in London, UK on Wednesday, 18 November 2015

Now entering its third year, the Forum attracts approximately 350
delegates from across the knowledge community of librarians,
publishers and related agents, suppliers and intermediaries. The Forum
is the place for ideas, debate, provocations and short briefings on
best practice and interesting projects - the programme consists of
7-10 minute lightning talks. The overall subject focus for 2015 is
“design, simplicity and user experience”. (Note that although the
Forum is the day after the UKSG One-Day Conference (mark your diaries
- 17-18 November), the programme for the latter event is separately
planned and is not part of this call for topics / speakers.)

(b) our 2016 Annual Conference, to be held in Bournemouth, UK from
Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 April 2016

The conference attracts almost 1,000 delegates of a similarly
wide-ranging global provenance. It provides a much respected forum for
discussing trends, showcasing initiatives, finding out about current
practice across sectors, and connecting with other professionals.

Suggestions for speakers / topics for both events are invited, and
must be submitted via the UKSG website:

http://www.uksg.org/event/JointCallForTopics2015-6

The deadline for suggestions is Friday 5 June 2015.

We look forward to your suggestions!

Best wishes,

Charlie.
