The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that Wolters Kluwer Health
is participating in the preservation of their Lippincott Williams &
Wilkins (LWW) ejournals in CLOCKSS's geographically and geopolitically
distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major
research libraries around the world. This action provides for content
to be freely available to everyone after a "trigger event" and ensures
an author's work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.

“We’re pleased to partner with CLOCKSS to ensure the long-term
preservation of LWW published medical, nursing and allied health
journal content,” said Jayne Marks, Vice President Publishing, Wolters
Kluwer Health, Medical Research. “We publish highly-regarded content
on behalf of leading societies and place great importance on the
preservation and safeguarding of this content by working with the
industry’s respected and trusted partner for dark archives.”

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive
welcomes Wolters Kluwer Health’s ejournals with their coverage of
medicine, nursing and health professions, into the community's
archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Wolters Kluwer Health has ensured
that the scholarship in their publications will continue to be
available to as wide an audience as possible, now and in the future
for the long-term good of scholars worldwide."
