BioOne Announces 2015 Title Additions

WASHINGTON, DC—BioOne (www.bioone.org) welcomes five new journals
to BioOne Complete™, its online aggregation of independently-published,
subscribed and open-access titles. Joining the aggregation in January 2015
will be: Ameghiniana, published by the Argentine Paleontological Association;
Candollea, published by the Conservatory and Botanical Garden of the City of
Geneva, Switzerland; Journal of Wildlife Diseases, published by the Wildlife
Disease Association; Polish Journal of Ecology, published by the Museum and
Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences; and Willdenowia, published by
the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin-Dahlem, Germany.

Each journal is a leader in its field and is ranked in Thomson
Reuters’ 2014 Journal
Citation Reports®, thus enhancing the value of a BioOne Complete subscription
for BioOne’s subscribers worldwide. BioOne participation likewise
represents a key
step forward for each of these nonprofit publishers by making their content more
accessible to a global audience. Four of these five new titles have
previously been
unavailable in full-text XML.

“Ameghiniana, published by the Argentine Paleontological Association since 1957,
has recently introduced changes that aim to position it as a leading
paleontological
journal focused on Gondwana and the southern hemisphere,” commented Diego Pol,
Director of Ameghiniana. He also noted that, “after expanding our
editorial board
and reducing our publication time, our next goal was to achieve a
broad distribution
online to institutions around the globe. BioOne was the perfect way to
achieve this
goal while keeping the Association's mission intact.”

In 2015, BioOne Complete will be home to 184 total publications. Of
this total, 74%
are JCR-ranked, 25% are based outside of the US, and 45% are available online
exclusively through the BioOne aggregation. For subscription or free
trial information,
please contact your local BioOne agent.
