Iā€™m writing to ask the group for help in finding a new CEO for
DuraSpace, whose board I chair. Michele Kimpton, who has done a superb
job as CEO, has decided to step down and seek new challenges and
opportunities. She leaves us with a going concern that provides
software and services, notably including DSpace, Fedora, and VIVO, to
over 2000 institutions ā€” most of them academic libraries ā€” worldwide.
More information about DuraSpace can be found at http://duraspace.org.

The CEO of DuraSpace manages a staff of about a dozen people, and
works closely with an active board and a very active set of users'
groups. The position is well situated to help shape the landscape
around preservation and access, particularly but not exclusively with
respect to academic work.

Please direct anyone you know who might be interested to

Thank you for your help, and please feel free to be in touch with me
or with Michele ([log in to unmask])
