*Position Announcement*

Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX invites applications for
the position of Emerging Technologies Librarian at the Sue & Radcliffe
Killam Library.



This position will be responsible for developing strategies for
collaboration, program planning, and support for interdisciplinary digital
projects and initiatives; planning, implementing, and evaluating
sustainable services and policies that support open access, preservation,
and broad dissemination of University research and data; and providing
support for the library’s OER initiatives in collaboration with faculty,
staff, and campus stakeholders. Additionally, this position will serve as
the library liaison to OIT and will work collaboratively to research,
evaluate, recommend, and test new technologies.



Starting Salary: $52,800
