Göttingen State and University Library (SUB Göttingen) is engaged in
several national and international projects developing of
infrastructures and services for electronic publishing and the
implementation of Open Access. In this context we are currently
filling two posts which may be of interest for you:

In this context, the European project 'FOSTERplus – Fostering the
practical implementation of Open Science in Horizon 2020 and beyond'
is seeking a Project Officer (E 13 TV-L, part-time, limited-term)

Your responsibility will be to:

* manage the dissemination activities of the project, in particular to
build up a project website, produce dissemination material and target
stakeholders at events
* develop and implement a broad scale advocacy and Open Science
training programme (e-learning courses, workshops, webinars, etc.),
with a focus on intermediate/advanced and discipline-specific training
materials
* closely work with researchers (through graduate schools, etc.) and
other stakeholders to align training materials and courses to their
needs
* coordinate and contribute to activities in support of Open Science
trainers (e. g. Training Handbook, Bootcamp and Network)

You will need:

* a Master’s degree
* sound knowledge in digital information management, preferably in the
area of Open Access / Open Science, e. g. repositories, open research
data
* excellent communication and organisational skills, in particular in
international contexts and projects
* presentation and teaching experience, and interest in applying
electronic tools and methods (e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
* well-organized with personal initiative
* excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), German
would be an asset but is not required

This position offers you multileveled and interesting project work
within a dedicated and dynamic international team in a collaborative
working atmosphere. The post will involve a certain amount of travel
within Europe and gives the opportunity to follow up on complementary
research questions of your own.

This post is offered with immediate effect in a part-time position
(19,9 hrs / week) on a two year term contract. Salary is expected to
be ca. EUR 20.000 p. a. (depending on experience; German salary schema
for public employees, E 13 TV-L).

The FOSTERplus project supports the implementation of the Open Science
policies of the European Commission in Horizon 2020, the current
framework program for research and innovation (2014-2020). The project
delivers and aims to sustain a European-wide training programme
targeting researchers, project administrators and other stakeholders.
FOSTER will closely collaborate with the OpenAIRE project in which SUB
Göttingen acts as the scientific coordinator.

for Responsible Research and Innovation' we are seeking a  Project
Officer (E 13 TV-L, part-time, limited-term)

* manage the community engagement and support activities of the
training package of the project, in particular to build up contacts
with communities of interest, and to encourage exchanges and feedback
of learners and trainers
* develop and implement training programme together with other project
partners which facilitates the adoption of Responsible Research &
Innovation (RRI) and Open Science good practices (e-learning courses,
workshops, webinars, etc.),
* closely work with researchers, research administrators/managers and
other stakeholders to create and align training materials and courses
to their needs
* contribute to other project activities, e. g. sectoral analysis,
co-creation experiments and dissemination

You will need:

* a Master’s degree
* sound knowledge in digital information management, preferably in the
area of Open Access /  Open Science (e. g. repositories, open research
data) and the concepts and practical implementation of Responsible
Research & Innovation (e. g. public and societal engagement, gender
equality)
excellent communication and organisational skills, in particular in
international contexts and projects
presentation and teaching experience, and interest in applying
electronic tools and methods (e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
* well-organized with personal initiative
* excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), German

Research and Innovation and Open Science. It will explore and promote
viable strategies to research funding and performing organisations in
order to 1) enhance competencies and skills, 2) institutionally embed
RRI / OS practices through advanced governance setting. The FIT4RRI
project supports the implementation of the Open Science policies of
the European Commission in Horizon 2020, the current framework program
for research and innovation (2014-2020). In particular, it creates a
training programme in order to facilitate the adoption of RRI and Open
Science good practices. FIT4RRI will closely collaborate with the
FOSTERplus project in which SUB Göttingen coordinates the outreach and
advocacy work.
