position, reporting into the General Counsel's office.

"The Library is systematically collecting user data in its planning
and decisionmaking activities. In order to make sure we remain
compliant with federal, state and applicable international laws, and
that we can continue to protect the Library, its users and staff, we
are seeking a knowledgeable and talented person to serve as our
Associate Director of Data Privacy Management.

"As a member of the General Counsel's team, you will join a group of
attorneys who work collaboratively and creatively with one another and
with the Library various stakeholders to develop lead the strategy and
controls around the collection, use, access, storage, transmission and
disposal of personal information held by Library. This position is
best suited to an a professional with deep knowledge of data
protection laws and their application."
