Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to our next free UKSG webinar - Impact of Library
Discovery Technologies.

Date: Wednesday 14 May 2014
Time: 1400 BST
Duration: 45 minutes including Q&A (up to 60 minutes maximum if there is
sufficient demand for an extended Q&A)

For more information and to register, please visit
http://www.uksg.org/librarydiscoverytechnologies

Valérie Spezi will discuss the key findings of the 'Impact of Library
Discovery Technologies' report and the implications of these findings for
librarians, publishers and content providers, RDS suppliers and other
national and international organisations with an interest in the information
chain.

Ed Pentz will give an overview of how the UKSG Research and Innovation
Committee works and how this study fits in with the plans the Committee has
for future initiatives.

If you are unable to attend, please register anyway and we will send you a
link to a recording of the webinar after the event.

Feedback from a previous UKSG webinar - “UKSG webinars are great. They allow
you to hear top quality speakers where you are and, unlike a conference or
training course, there's no 'out of office' time need for travel or travel
costs.”

Thank you for your attention.

Maria
