Hey Scott,

I am not particularly enamored of the license either. My procurement
officer is going to have to negotiate the terms with YBP and we'll see
where we go. In the meantime, if it is required that users click
through the license before entering GOBI the 1st of January, we may
not be able to use the system until negotiations are complete. In my
case, that could take some time. Which actually means that YBP is
going to lose some money since we will not be able to order through
their system. We'll will just have to use one of our other contracted
vendors much more than normal.

This is a bad move on their part.

Stephen

Hi,

I would like to know what others who use YBP's services think about
YBP's new GOBI3 License Agreement requirement for 2013 and beyond. As
a longtime and loyal customer, UMass finds the requirement offensive
and the Agreement itself severely wanting. We would not be able to
agree the License terms as written.
