The Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS)
has named Beverley Geer as the 2013 recipient of the Ulrich’s Serials
Librarianship Award. This award for distinguished contributions to
serials is presented by the Continuing Resources Section of ALCTS and
consists of a citation and $1,500 donated by ProQuest through its
Serials Solutions business unit.

Beverley Geer, collection development manager at YBP Library Services,
has been named for her distinguished contributions to the field of
serials librarianship. She has made these contributions through her
scholarship, professional contributions, extensive knowledge of and
experience with the serials information chain and her passion for
sharing her skills and experience with the larger library community.
