Eight New Publishers and 30 New Titles Join for 2015

JSTOR is pleased to announce that the 2015 catalog and price list for
the Current Scholarship Program (CSP) are now available.

The Current Scholarship Program, which integrates current journals
alongside archival content on the JSTOR platform, continues to grow
steadily. A total of 301 titles, 30 of them new to the program, will
be available for the 2015 subscription year. Fifty-two leading
publishers are participating in the 2015 program, and we anticipate
additional journals will be added for the 2015 subscription year.

As the program hits the five year mark, we invite you to read a brief
five-year CSP retrospective, which assesses the impact of the Current
Scholarship Program and the progress that it has made toward its
original aims. A few accomplishments include:

* More than 6,500 libraries in 95 countries now subscribe to CSP
journals. Publishers in the program have seen their subscriber bases
grow by an average of 7% each year, and attrition rates have been
below industry average.

* Journals often see increased usage on the JSTOR platform and
sustained growth year on year. Some have seen increases of more than
100%.

* Subscription prices for CSP journals have remained at rates far
lower than the industry average (CSP journals have an average cost of
$176 per title), and we have successfully worked with several
publishers to tier their pricing to enable a wider range of libraries
to subscribe.

Complimentary Access for Early Orders

JSTOR is again pleased to offer complimentary e-access for the
remainder of 2014 for new 2015 subscription orders received by
September 1, 2014. Complimentary e-access is not available for
journals that are new to the program for 2015. Please contact

Flexible Subscription Options

Institutions may subscribe to journals in the Current Scholarship
Program as single titles, discounted publisher packages, discipline
collections, or the discounted Complete Current Scholarship
Collection. All subscription prices are set by participating
publishers, and some publishers and titles offer pricing tiered
according to JSTOR classifications.

Orders can be placed directly with JSTOR or via your subscription
agent. JSTOR also offers reserve accounts, which institutions may use
to set aside funds for later allocation to JSTOR offerings.
Institutions interested in setting up a reserve account with
end-of-year funds can contact [log in to unmask] for more
information.

About the Current Scholarship Program

The Current Scholarship Program (CSP) provides access to more than 300
high-quality current titles from 52 leading publishers, linking
current journals with archival content on JSTOR’s trusted platform.
JSTOR is one of the most heavily used and relied-upon research and
teaching platforms for academic libraries, helping scholars to
discover, use, and build upon a wide range of academic content.

The Current Scholarship Program was a direct response to the needs of
the communities JSTOR serves. It was created to help presses,
scholarly associations, libraries, faculty, and students benefit from
investment in a shared technology platform and related services to
support the publication, dissemination, and use of new scholarship.
JSTOR and its participating publishers share a mission to advance fair
and sustainable models that promote the widest possible dissemination
of scholarly research.
