Dear All,

In today’s fast-changing academic climate, the role of the librarian
is likewise changing, with increasing focus on specialist skills and
knowledge. To help insure we stay up to date with the changing needs
of librarians and institutions globally, Cambridge University Press is
recruiting an online panel of librarians to help inform the
development of our online platforms, sales models, and more.

The link to join the panel is:
https://thecambridgepanel.recollective.com/librarianpanel/join?key=WmFC

If you have colleagues at your institution who might be able to
provide expertise on specialties including metadata, discovery
systems, Open Research, text and data mining (TDM), cataloguing,
licensing, research data management, or scholarly communications,
please forward this on.

What will being on the Specialist Librarian Panel involve?

Panelists are usually given one or two activities per month to
complete on the online platform Recollective, each of which takes less
than 10 minutes to complete. Tasks might include answering a survey,
commenting on images, or prioritizing different features and
functionality through card sorting.

We will also be offering a quarterly prize drawing, to give our
panelists who complete at least one activity a chance to receive $500
/ £400 towards attendance at a conference or related Industry event of
their choice. Details are available in our Terms and Conditions
document on the page linked above.

Thanks very much.

Best,

Susan
