The annual conference of the Association of Subscription Agents and
Intermediaries will be held in London on 25-26 February 2013. Register
by 7th January to take advantage of early-bird discounts.

The conference programme, "The 3 Rs: Reach, Readership and Revenues,"
will cover the publishing value chain from researchers to readers,
featuring presentations from industry leaders who are continuing to
innovate and prevail in a business that is constantly evolving. The
programme is organised around four sessions covering the main stages
of the supply of content from authors to readers: Authoring and
Publishing, Buying and Selling Content, Discovery and Metadata, and
Content Usage and Quality. Also scheduled for the conference is a
panel discussion involving leading figures from the academic content
world which will debate both traditional and open access business
models, trying to answer the question, "Who pays: government,
philanthropists, funders, authors, institutions, libraries or
readers?"
