Books at JSTOR Now Available at YBP Library Services

JSTOR and YBP Library Services (YBP), the academic division of Baker &
Taylor, are pleased to announce a partnership that will enable
librarians to purchase books in the Books at JSTOR program.

[New York, NY – May 22, 2014] - Books at JSTOR titles are now
available in GOBI3 (Global Online Bibliographic Information), YBP's
acquisition and collection management interface. Libraries can elect
to receive new title notifications from GOBI3 or have titles
automatically delivered on JSTOR through YBP's eApproval program.
JSTOR’s demand-driven acquisition program will be available through
YBP at a later date.

“The Books at JSTOR program aims to offer librarians flexibility in
both purchasing options and workflows,” said Frank Smith, Director of
Books at JSTOR. “Now, librarians will also be able to take advantage
of YBP’s selection and profiling tools to make ordering from Books at
JSTOR even easier.”

“YBP is very excited to offer JSTOR books through GOBI3,” said Mark
Kendall, YBP’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations. “Our
customers have told us that they want us to support their ability to
acquire JSTOR titles and as a result of their feedback, we are pleased
to offer this option within the context of their existing workflows
with YBP. Libraries will now have the option to add JSTOR ebooks to
their eApproval plans as well as firm order titles in GOBI3.”

Books at JSTOR features more than 25,000 titles from 57 publishers,
including Princeton University Press, The MIT Press, Yale University
Press, and many others. The program offers:

- Integrated books and journals on the highly used JSTOR platform

- More than 16,000 books in an unlimited-user, DRM-free access model

- Savings based on the size of the institution and the number of JSTOR
Archive collections licensed

 - Free OCLC MARC records

- ILL permitted

- Perpetual access rights, with titles preserved in Portico
