Prof. Peter Jacso has done some work comparing Web of Science, Scopus
and Google Scholar. I am not sure if he is contributing to this
discussion in this list. I am alerting him.

Since his last paper on the subject Google Scholar might have made
many changes to its search strategy and policy which might have led to
considerable improvement.
