At CUNY we just initiated a subscription to the New York Times
directly from them.

Other than licensing these newspapers from 3rd Party Aggregators
(LexisNexis, EBSCO, ProQuest, etc.) do any universities license the
New York Times or Wall Street Journal direct from the publisher?

Historically I believe it’s been cost-prohibitive to do. Is this still true?
