<div><br></div><div>I heard the argument of this post &quot;live&quot; at Charleston last week.  Todd makes a compelling case for the need for new metrics.  I am now persuaded that new metrics will in time change what is measured and that the result will be an outpouring of scholarly material in new forms.</div>
