From: "Dr. Zhi_Yun JIA" <[log in to unmask]> Date: Sat, 29 Jun 2013 10:32:19 +0800 Dear Colleagues, The journal CURRENT ZOOLOGY (formerly Acta Zool Sinica), was founded in 1935, changed to be an English journal and covered by SCOPUS in 2009, covered by SCI (2013 JCR impact factor 1.392, 52/169, ZOOLOGY) and Current Contents, BIOSIS Preview beginning from 2010, indexed by Zoological Records and Biological Abstracts for dozens of years. It is an international journal focused on ecology, evolution and behavior. The journal is published by Editorial Office, CURRENT ZOOLOGY. It is a non-for- profit journal aiming for promotion of science progress. Publication in the journal is free of page chages, i.e., authors are not charged for publication. All the published papers can be read and downloaded free of charge. I wonder if you will have the journal webpage linked to your university library. It is mutually beneficial: for your university, the students/staff members will have an extra way to acquire high-quality references, in addition to the traditional way, i.e., consulting large databases, e.g., Blackwell-Willey, Elsevier; for the journal, audiences will increase. Thank you, and have a nice weekend! Zhiyun Zhi-Yun JIA Executive Editor Current Zoology http://www.currentzoology.org Coverd by SCI and Current Contents, BIOSIS Preview,Biological Abstract, Zoological Records, Chemical Abstract, and Scopus, CURRENT ZOOLOGY is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes reviews and research articles, including significant new findings of fundamental and general interest. Submissions in the research fields of ecology, behavioral biology, biogeography, conservation biology, and evolutionary biology are especially welcome. In particular, CURRENT ZOOLOGY seeks to publish research that explores the interface between zoological disciplines, and is truly integrative by illuminating the greater picture.
