Some of the content, NAD said, relies on automatic captions provided by Web sites such as YouTube, which sometimes produce unintelligible captions depending on audio clarity, while other videos don't offer captions at all. The cases are filed in a federal district court in Massachusetts." See Inside Higher Ed's report of a similar suit regarding sports scoreboards. Anyone know how that turned out? https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2013/09/27/maryland-lawsuit-over-captioning-deaf-not-unique-likely-wont-be-last Is any other litigation in the works? Ann Okerson
